Every year the Fremont County Soil and Water Conservation District is proud to give up to five-$1,000 scholarships/internships to graduating high school seniors who live within Fremont County. These scholarships/internships are paid to the students over a two-year period. To receive the first installment of the award, a minimum of eight hours internship is required by each recipient. This internship must be completed prior to September 1 of the current year the scholarship/internship was awarded. If the internship is not completed prior to September 1, the scholarship is void.
Scholarship/internship winners are selected on a basis of extracurricular and community activities, career goals (agricultural fields are not required), and response to a conservation based question.
